Hi, at 4:10 why did you add 6V? Doesn't the 6V contribute to V1 already? Or am I having the wrong idea about the circuit. Its quite a big issue for me now.

The 6V source would help us to know the value of V1 using the node voltage expression if and only if the circuit shown in the video doesn’t has the 18V voltage source connected from V1 node directly to the reference node in one of its branches because then we need to use the node voltage expression in order to find the value of V1. Notice that the value of V1 equals the voltage across one of its branches that connected to the reference node not to the second node (V2). The addition occurred of the 6V because the current on the 6V branch using V2 is V2-V1(because V1 and V2 are the terminal voltages of this branch) and don’t forget that we have an independent voltage source (6V) but since we are using V2 to find its expression we are subtracting the voltages from V2 as u can see that the negative terminal of the 6V source facing the V2 node as a result subtracting a negative is an addition. I hope that it is all clear now.
