Just saw a belly mount weight for 7R tractors. Made me wonder if something like that would help on a 1025R. The lower center of gravity seems helpful. Granted the weight lifting limit of the mower lift may make the weight to light to be helpful. Just a thought. Y’all are doing great. Shine On!

@limbsawАй бұрын
@mattphillips4260 It sounds like you have some custom work to do! But I wanted to let you know, the LimbSaw LSC Circular Saw requires 10gpm, and the LS8 Chainsaw requires 7gpm of hydraulic flow. A PTO kit would certainly help add to that flow if your equipment does not offer enough as standard!

Another fine product that I could use to get all the overhanging trees off my fence. I'm also thinking about a cage that goes on your forks and lifts you up, I could then use my Stihl Combi tool with a brush cutter to do about the same thing but way more labor intensive. Great content as always.
@limbsawАй бұрын
@grampystractor The LimbSaw is a great product to help you clear those trees on your fence row! The cage for your forks sounds like a safer option that just standing in the bucket - but the LimbSaw could save you all that time and physical labor! The only downside to the LimbSaw is the mess you have to clean up after.
@GrampysTractorАй бұрын

@janskoropinski10 The LimbSaw was originally designed and intended for tractors, but over the years we have had so many customers use their LimbSaw on excavators, skid steers, skid loaders, backhoes, etc. As long as you have the correct amount of hydraulic flow, you should be able to use the LimbSaw. The LSC Circular Saw requires 10gpm, and the LS8 Chainsaw requires 7gpm. We will be adding customer photos to our website soon, so be sure to check out what customers put their LimbSaw on!
@jamesstuder5045Ай бұрын
When the local electric company trimmed back the ROW they used a boom rig with a similar saw on the end. The only difference was it would rotate, making the trimming much faster.
@limbsawАй бұрын
@jamesstuder5045 We have many municipalities that use their LimbSaw for keeping their parks and city roads neatly trimmed! It sounds like the equipment you saw was more commercially built, while we focus primarily on landowners, farmers, and personal usage. The LSC Circular Saw can be manually rotated into vertical and horizontal cutting positions.
@scottlagaly1389Ай бұрын
Hey Tim… cutting upward, the limb is going to pinch the blade due to gravity and stop it.

It would be great if the tilt function could turn the head left/right for different angles on the branches.
@limbsawАй бұрын
@johnk.3593 That would be great! Currently the LimbSaw LSC Circular Saw does have to be manually rotated into horizontal and vertical cutting position. I think it needs about 6 inches greater diameter blade and the ability to use the third function to rotate the blade and motor about 45 degrees left/right.
@limbsawАй бұрын
@wallyzwolrd7108 Currently the LimbSaw LSC Circular Saw has a 16 and 5/16" blade - but due to the motor cover, you have about 5" of cutting width available. For larger cuts we recommend the LS8 Chainsaw. Being able to use the third function to rotate the saw head would be ideal, but not something we offer. We will soon be adding a product upgrade that will have a swivel receiver, allowing you to manually rotate the full saw into horizontal, vertical, and a 45 degree cutting position!
