My dad's favorite cheap casino. 😂 We used to stay at the Westward Ho a lot and this was my dad's hangout. I still have one of his one-armed bandit machine that he bought at the gift shop there. I honestly miss that place and my filthy hands after coin play. 🎰

My first time at CC was in late 1969. I was 9 at the time, and the place was only 1 year old. I wasn't your typical kid though. I had no interest in the carnival games upstairs. I wanted to be on the casino floor watching my parents play the slots. 😊

@@oldiesgeek454 Same here! My grandma would save her nickels all year long to go to Vegas and I used to run my hands through them, wanting to play those slots so bad. When I turned 21, my first jackpot was at the Circus Circus. 50 cent bet on an (old) Red, White & Blue. I hit $250. Been a gambler ever since. 🤣

@@Queen_of_Mean Great story. It's too bad the coin slots today only take tokens instead of actual nickles dimes and quarters. I wish my first jackpot was $250. Technically, my first jackpot occurred in the glamorous Motel 6 lobby on Tropicana when I was about 14. After we got our room key, I handed my mother 3 quarters to put in one of the slot machines that lined the wall. Three bars in a row came up, and I walked out with a cup of 100 quarters. It was quite a thrill. 😊
