It is hard to beat Ellis Island's prime rib, house brewed beer, my son loves their smoked pork ribs, my wife swears their fish & chips are the best in Vegas, and their prices extremely affordable. Especially if you get a player's club card and spend at least $5 gambling because then they give you free coupons for 20% off your bill at their restaurant.

Another exceptional video Tim. Sorry for your experience at the Golden Steer. Would’ve enjoyed that review. Anyway, the Prime Rib looked great for under $30. That could easily feed my girlfriend and I (we often share meals). Please be considerate of those around you with regards to that Fish n Chips. Reheated seafood really smells bad. Take it from someone who worked in an office for 25 years. We eventually had to make a rule for our office kitchen! 😂 Enjoyed seeing your Peter Lugers experience. I’ve been to the original Williamsburg Brooklyn location a few times. Ultimately I find the price to be about 30% too high for what you get. There are certainly better (and cheaper) steaks throughout NYC at this point. Looking forward to the next review!

I’m a big Ellis island / village pub fan and particularly the prime rib and fish and chips. Most of the time it’s very good, but I’ve also had on rare occasion a “dry” experience with the prime rib and a “soggy” experience with the fish. But 85% of the time it’s really good, just a matter of which chef is working I think.

It may be a matter of how busy they are, it only takes a minute delay in serving for the fish to go soggy and 2 for a steak to dry! But the chef could definitely make a difference too!

Wow what a first meal! It's goals to be able to house a Prime Rib and Fish & Chips in one go and still stay fit/thin LOL - I wanted ot comment that I am fairly certain that where they're going wrong with the soggy chips is they're not doing a double cook. With those big chunky fries you have to do an initial cook then come back and fry at a different temp? EDIT: I commented this before watching the other meal - WOW where those some epic dining experiences! That Peter Luger Steak and Beef Tallow fries looked amazing!

Ellis island pub is awesome. The French onion soup and fish and chips are scrumptious. We shared the fish and chips between three people! The best in Vegas! Will go back for the prime rib! But I just might have to get the soup and fish and chips again! Food is fabulous and affordable.

You should try The Steak House at Circus Circus. Very good. They age their own steaks. Meal comes with all the sides. A true hidden gem. Been going for 2o years and have never beed disappointed

That prime rib is probably still the best value near the Vegas Strip. They do quite a good job, and always tender and fatty.😋

I’ll have to try the Ellis Island, fish and chips, soup and prime rib. I did try their ribs. They’re OK! When we go to a steakhouse, we usually go to Carve Prime Rib in the Cannery Casino. You might want to check that place out. I usually order filet mignon. We love it!
