Real walking boots would have given you more support in those paths. Love your video tho. I have family in Lourdes and we have visited that area. The Saturday market in Bannière is superb. My next adventure is to go up to the Pic de Midi - especially overnight. Would love to see you do that one. 😁

Had you have driven a further 4 mins from where you parked in Gavarnie there is a huge motorvan (aire). Also the road then continues up and up to the ski resort and beyond to a car park with an unbelievable view and GR walk.

WOW Kev / Dora / Twinnie, the scenery was absolutely stunning well done at capturing it so well. Bet Riki was a bit miffed he couldn't put the drone up and not gonna lie we were sneakily hoping Riki may have had a stumble in the river. What a view to have a Coffee and a Coke. Loved the banter and the hat 😁 absolutely brilliant vlog with some clever filming all the way through it, you smashed it !!! I really wanted him to fall in the water too. 😂 Glad you enjoyed the scenery. The camera just can’t do it justice. Someone did have a drone up of course when we were at the top but I’m too much of a stickler for the rules as you know! 🔥 😇 It was one of the best coke zeros I’ve had after a long, hot walk and then watching the water tumbling down in the sunshine. Well worth it. 😍 We need to get our next meet up in the diary! Xxx

This is not a "silly rule". This is a National Park. They've been created for a reason: to protect nature... Tourists are merely allowed, only if they respect certain conditions. Plus, there are birds of prey and huge vutures in the Pyrenees (the largests birds in Europe, called "gypaètes barbus"). I'd rather they stay safe from armies of drones roaming their skies if you don't mind... and drones safe from being mistaken for preys.
