Dr Cash was amazing! I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the pathophysiology part of this lecture. Also Dr Cash is a great lecturer, the lecture was very informative, interesting and easy to follow. I’ve learned a lot. Just wanted to point out for residents starting out in body imaging, the IVC was marked instead of the caudate lobe at around 1:30, just a “typo”.

At the beginning when she highlights the caudate, isn't that the IVC? Thanks Dr Cash for the presentation!

In cirrhosis is there actual caudate and left lobe enlargement, or it is just that they look disproportionately larger than the much atrophied right lobe?
@radiologytutorials Жыл бұрын
It is a combination of both right lobe atrophy and caudate hypertrophy (the hypertrophy is thought to be due to changes in blood flow with the caudate able to drain directly into the IVC)

Oh, I see :) Thank you so much Dr for taking the time to reply and making radiology fun and understandable ✨✨@@radiologytutorials
