Learn how to identify the different spaces of the peritoneum. I show you how to divide the abdomen into the greater and lesser sac as well as the supramesocolic and inframesocolic spaces. We will identify the abdominal organs, mesentery and the greater and lesser omentum.
Confidently label the paramesocolic gutters, left and right inframesocolic spaces and the subphrenic spaces. We will follow the gastrointestinal tract from the oesophagus to the rectum on a CT scan.
We will identify the pelvic organs labelling the Pouch of Douglas, uterovesicular space and the anterior recess.

Not sure if the question banks are for you?
If you're here, you're likely studying for a radiology physics exam. I've spent the last few months collating past papers from multiple different countries selecting the most commonly asked questions. You'll be surprised how often questions repeat themselves!
The types of questions asked in FRCR, RANZCR AIT, ARRT, FC Rad Diag (SA), ABR qualifying Core Physics and MICR part 1 are surprisingly similar and the key concepts remain the same throughout. I've taken the most high-yield questions and answered them in video format so that I can take you through why certain answers are correct and others are not.
Happy studying,
Michael

Thanks for the video! If you have a ruptured ectopic pregnancy, how does blood go to Morrison's pouch? Since pelvic organs are extraperitoneal is the morrison's pouch also extraperitoneal ?
@Elyrion4409
@Elyrion4409 5 ай бұрын
Building off that, hemorrhage in the pouch of douglas from uterine pathology must technically be extraperitoneal. But hemorrhage from visceral organ injury ie liver that pools in the pouch of douglas will be intraperitoneal.
