you do realize that: 1. they have to play in conference all year, 2. They were required to pick one out of conference opponent that was also in state, 3. They had a said SEC in state opponent on their schedule who cancelled the game. Clemson gets 3 out of conference games every year and each year 2 of those 3 games are against SEC opponents 9 of the last 11 years. And speaking of which, over the last five seasons we have played and beaten Notre Dame twice, Oklahoma twice, Ohio State twice, Alabama twice, and won two national championships. (not to mention all of the other top ten match ups we have won in conference during that time i.e. a number 3 Louisville team with Lamar Jackson). We schedule people 7-8 years out. When we scheduled Texas A&M for our 2018 and 2019 season, they were the number 3 team that year. When we scheduled Auburn out of conference for our opener in 2016 and 2017 they were the number 1 team in the country. When we scheduled Georgia as our out of conference opponent for the 2013 and 2014 seasons, they were the number 5 team in the nation. We schedule and play ANYONE and we have no problem doing it, we just cannot predict what teams will be good when we get them 7 years later. We schedule out of conference better than any other team I know, and we make a point of doing it. Learn some facts before you just jump on the hate train. I know you are mad because we are gonna kill whoever your team is this year and you will pretend its because you have a tougher schedule. Just know that story changed because up until we beat Bama, we were told we would lose because we play each week against inferior opponents. So its one of the other.

Clemson has the same playoff record as Alabama. Both bama and Clemson are 2-2 when facing each other but Clemson has 2 championships on them. Clemson has the greatest point differential in the playoff. Clemson can't control how good other teams are.
