I watch you build that rural Train station and while watching you put it together, your list of mods showed on the presentation on youtube, I am a senior player age 80 and love this game and using mods. I just wondered if you may have newer ones and would share your list. Nice presentations. You comment you switched from workshop rials mods to vanilla how is this done when playing or designing. do you shut all the mods off. buses are a problem fo me as well

I use MoarTrainTracks, it gives me grassy track, vanilla, concrete and like an asphalt crossing type o think aswell as a catenary disabling feature which is handy.

Beautiful. Lots of people going to the countryside by train - let me guess, music festival? :) Something that bugs me about CSL: those farm pieces, the way they overlap. They look ... fine. It would be better if they didn't overlap but it doesn't really matter, the entire scene looks great. But, if I made the exact same thing, those over-lapping field pieces would drive me mad. I worry about little details in my own creations but enjoy others' despite these trivial little things. I wish I could enjoy my own work, but I can't see the wood for the trees. Maybe everyone is like this, I don't know.

Well if decazah made some smaller farm field I could maybe have made it more neat

That would help, although I think I need to learn to look at the bigger picture, literally. I'm going to think more about drawing the eye away from such places, that's a good idea. Placing loads of field pieces can help a bit, by overlapping them so much that they're opaque. I need to use stairs and ploppable surfaces a lot more too, that looks great. I love learning these tricks. BTW, I'm a new subscriber, I found you via the Infrastructurist's new Japan video and I've heard others like Skibitth mention you too.

Yeah fields can help detailing a massive area and if you have a more detailed area near it can draw the eye away from the low detail fields. Also glad you made it over from the Infrastructurist's hope I don't disappoint

I have had the problem of buses not spawning ages ago. The fix that worked for me was connecting the depot to power and water.

Looks great as allways but how you can have a train station without having a train station, if you know what i mean? Is is a ploppable platform and can i find it on the workshop? I skipped through your video but i dont saw how you placed something down which acts like a train station. so many "???" :D

Its bit too pretty for rurar station,from what i saw there should be just grass,one concrete block and thats it😂,and probably dirt roads or national ones only but probably not that nice roads😂 between farms
