I purchased the panda dial version, its nice..a bit small, but if you throw it on a bund style strap its all good.. the movement is eh...second hand stopwatch movement is second to second not a smooth sweep like other Citizen quartz movements that are for less expensive. I'll be keeping it...probably?

Stumbled across your channel mate when I was doing some seiko monster research, love the channel. I had my eye on this watch don’t have a citizen/bullhead in my collection. I like the white colour way, it’s a bugger to find. Oh by the way after watching you Seestearn monster review I pick up that exact one, really like the look of the dial colour. Should be here soon….. Thank you. Yes the panda variant is quite difficult to find in stock anywhere at the moment. Although after speaking with a seller in Japan, I am informed that there will be more available in Nov/Dec. Hope you enjoy the Seestern Monster when it arrives, it is a beauty!👍🏻🙏🏻

Nope, the 1 tick per second for the chronograph is the final nail in the coffin for me. Although I wish it was an automatic chronograph, I don't mind that it's quartz. It would be nice if they came out with one that had an auto. You add in the glass crystal (Sapphire just isn't that expensive nowadays, it might add $30 to this watch, tops), the cheap snap back cover, and the 1 tick per second chronograph hand, I just can't. There's mechaquartz movements they could have used.

Watch fan looks at all their automatics "Needs servicing...hmmm right!" Wonder if you could swap an original movement into that case?

I don’t think servicing modern autos is necessarily a big concern, but if you were to pick up one of the original bullhead automatic models, then servicing would become an issue for sure. And servicing can become pretty expensive very quickly. As for putting a 8110A movement into this modern case, it won’t work. I don’t have an original to hand, but the cases, while similar looking, are a bit different dimension wise. Crown tube, pusher location, caseback etc would all be slightly different for both the auto and the quartz models.

@@seadweller44 I meant for what your getting, quartz and the cheesy 18mm bracelet. That’s a really bad size also. I would immediately replace that and getting 18mm limits vastly your choices. I probably would have tried it if it was a 40/20mm watch on a strap.

Yes, I guess you are right. I agree, the bracelet is pretty awful, but I actually like the Quartz movement! I would have much preferred an automatic version, but I do think if they had went with the auto, it would have been too expensive.

In my opinion the true price of this watch is 150 or more not more than this but they add the double price for the brand name citizen lol and I was wish it has a solid bracelet not very flamsy and weak strap with 18mm lug width 😅 ➕ I was wish it's automatic but that impossible for 300 $ because the automatically watch machines laterally are expensive and cost more money after covid 19 attack the world 🗺 citizen company play only on the look only to catch some fans!

Strangely, Seiko beat its speedtimer much better. There's a sapphire, and the smooth running of the second hand, and 100wr, and even a cast bracelet with a clasp. Citizen clearly has something wrong with this model.

why couldnt citizens produce the watch you are reviewing in automatic??? id by it in a sec....the newest chrono's dial doesnt look like this one...and i wouldnt buy the vintage. simply because i want new
