I have one of these watches. The only part I don't love is the strap. It irritated my wrist so much that it caused blisters. I contacted Citizen (they were great) and they offered to replace it with another model (which I declined - I like this model) but they had no other strap available, which I find a bit ridiculous. I ended up buying a NATO strap on Amazon, which did the trick. If I had one suggestion for Citizen (other than having a metallic strap option), it would be to use Tritium markers for the hour points. At this price point, it should be a standard thing, not to mention that this watch is obviously geared to people who go outdoors, where a clearly readable nighttime face is a desirable thing. Thanks for the review!

I have one of those... but the compass always goes in the same position on the watch, even if I move my hand in another, the position always remains fixed. I don't know how to calibrate this watch.

Does the button which allows to use the compass own a red or orange ring ? Is the compass hand red or orange ? It is not very clear on the video. Thanks in advance. Claude from France

I guess the BN40 is with scale in meters for the altimeter and BN 50 has scale in feet.
