You can adjust your pedal assist in the Bee Cool settings. I have mine set to the 0-9 pas right now. Biggest issue with Bee Cool is customer service but great bike.

Hey CC I discovered that the adjustment on the rear shock is done by twisting the black ring under the large tube. I had to down on my knees to see it. It still isn't a major change but still...

Grear video thanks for the info and for the BeeCool just an inexpensive steering stem swap would be needed to raise and move the bars rearward.

another good video. I like your style, you don't tell ANYONE to buy anything, you just show the bikes you have had access to and just give the facts. I knew of the Himi Cruiser and was sold by the Cost Vs. Value , you only confirmed my choices. but you give each bike it's due showing it's best features (including a Bike just being Fun)

I just saw this video and I must echo the past comments. Great job and a VERY useful comparison! You seem to have the most praise for the Magicycle, except for the brakes. Has the upgrade to hydraulic brakes on the Magicycle Cruiser Pro improved performance enough to eliminate your objection? I am also impressed with the Bee Cool bike's specs but, given the price point, I question the long term durability of that rear suspension system. The weight of their fat tire bikes also scares me away. One more thing: I know the point was to compare bikes with 750 watt motors, but I can't help but wonder whether any of them could reach their advertised top speed of 28 mph with me aboard. I'm 6'2'', 205 lb and like an upright riding position. Most reviewers seem to be shorter and considerably lighter. That is why I'm leaning toward the Ariel Rider Kepler. There's no doubt about that bike's capability. The Magicycle would otherwise meet my needs, but unless I could test ride it before buying I wouldn't take a chance.

Me and my wife are ready to pull the plug on a Bee Cool Explorer for me and a Bee Cool.Pathfinder Step-Thru for her! Your videos are fantastic and we have thoroughly enjoyed your awesome sharing of your experiences and opinions on the Bee Cool ebikes! I want to know if you personally think the current version of the Snapcycle R1 is possibly a better choice for a first time ebike purchaser for me and my wife! I was really knocked out by the "torture test" that you put the Snapcycle R1 through! The prices are almost exact on the BeeCool Explorer,BeeCool Step-thru Pathfinder and the Snapcycle R1! You seem to be quite fond of all 3 of these ebikes! I look forward to hearing your response and which bike you give the edge to out of these 3 bikes! My wife is right between 5'4" and 5'5" and she likes the step-thru style ebikes as they give shorter people better access and stability when seated and stopping! Loved the video that you released of your Dad choosing his favorite fat tire off road cruiser bike from the 14 bikes he tried all on the same day! 😁👍 Sincerely, Mac Baker

I have a Yolo Bolt fat tire and it is great for here in Florida on the beach or in the state forest near the beaches. However I like the idea of full suspension for roots in the forest versus the hard tail. my Yolo Bolt is over 3 years old and I have had no issues other than loose chain. So it's kind of hard to give up on it and go full suspension at the time. I'm so close to pulling the trigger on the BeeCool Adventurer

I really liked where you showed the handlebar height adjustment options of the BeeCool, but you didn’t test for full turn left/right capability at the top posotion which would have been even better for the viewers. Also, could you describe the smoothness of assist in the different PA settings, specifically of the BeeCool as it is not programmable like the others?

Great video as always! I think you’re right on the money with all your reviews I pretty much feel the same way as you. I own the magicycle great bike for the money got it at 1299! I upgraded the brakes right away to hydraulic calibers no more noise brakes are about the same if not a little better but I can live with it. I also have Lectric XP 2.0. I personally think the magic cycle is a step above the XP way more solid bike with awesome power. XP is good if you need a foldable bike. Keep it up. Like and sub for our boy!!!

Good job. As usual. Note: As of now, the Bee Cool is going for $1499 ($200 off). Which leads me to what I believe is important. 1. Price/value 2. Range/ability to extend range (i.e. bikes that can be set up with 2 batteries). 3. Class 3 capability/power/ability to climb hills 4. Hydraulic discs 5. Reliability/good customer service, especially with a direct to consumer product 6. Weight (my rear car rack has a 60lb limit) 7. Programmability 8. Quiet motor NOTE: Honestly...I don't really care for fat tire bikes. I don't ride off road and so a 27.5x2.2 would suit me the best. So since all the bikes in this comparison are fat tires I would really have to think hard as to whether or not I'd pay to have a bike with fat tires. They clearly add to the weight of the bike but as long as they come in under 60 lbs with the battery removed I could justify the purchase. I have 3 E-bikes, none of which are class 3: 1. A Yamaha Urban Rush (the most bike-like of any E-bike I've ridden). The mid drive motor and sensors that Yamaha uses make is seamless to ride/shift gears/change assist levels. It has no throttle and is a pure class 1 bike. I wish it had power assist beyond 20mph and I wish it had a throttle. Those things were of no concern to me when I bought it but they are important to me now. 2. Ariel Rider "M" class. It has a left hand half throttle (with, sadly, no throttle override) and is limited to 20mph max assist. It has 20" wheels, a 250 watt Dapu mid drive motor, does not fold, and I've purchased a 2nd battery so the range using a lot of assist with both batteries on hilly terrain is a solid 55+ miles at around 15-16 avg mph. (That Yamaha, on rolling terrain, with its 2x10 drive train and 40lb weight has gotten over 100 miles at about a 15-16mph average. It's mind blowing.) 3. Zhengbu K6 folding 1 speed 400w rear hub motor, 16" mag wheels, full right hand throttle, 40lb. I put a 13x13x19 milk crate on the rear rack and I haven't used my car to go to Costco, Walmart, Target, the post office, etc. in the 3 months since I got it. I've been riding for 40 years and this bike has been the only "car replacement" bike I've ever had. (Sadly, I had to hot shot my car battery last week after the first cold snap because of lack of use.) Not only that, I've taken it on some of my "training rides", my favorite being a 21 mile loop with 1,000' of climbing, and that little sucker is amazing. It's the least "bike-like" and more like a scooter. My pedaling is more like ghost pedaling, except when I'm on hills. It's just a hoot, for $950. I weight 215 lbs and this little over achiever will haul me at 21mph throttle only. (Because it's a 1 gear bike, it actually goes faster on throttle than with pedaling. It's got 3 levels of pedal assist, and when I'm going up a hill I use pedal assist 3 and can almost always go faster than 10mph.) Having said all of that...I'd go with the Bee Cool bike because of the price/range/overall value/bang for the buck. I'd be willing to have a slightly slower bike (I would be satisfied with a bike that can average 20-22mph over the course of a 40-50 mile ride with 3,000-4,000' of climbing. I don't know if the Bee Cool bike can do that, but that would be my goal.) Personally, I think I might only really be satisfied with a bike like the Rize City MD (mid drive/Bafang BBSO2), which can handle double batteries. (But, with 2 batteries, costs twice as much as the Bee Cool.) Since I live in a hilly area a mid drive is really the best way to go. A good strong hub motor can work, but it'll never have the same applicable torque as a strong mid drive motor. And the feel of a mid drive, because it's really using the transmission to work together with the motor, is 2nd to none, IMO. (Also, the Dost Drop is very very similar to the Rize City MD..) But if the Bee Cool could do the job, saving that much money is definitely something to consider. (NOTE: Gazelle makes a nice Medeo 10+ with a Bosch Performance Speed motor, and it can handle 2 batteries. But anything that uses a Bosch or Yamaha or Brose or Shimano mid drive will not come with a throttle. Any bike with a Bafang mid drive can be fitted with a throttle.) I'd love to see an on-road 30 mile test ride with 2,000' of climbing. (Hint...hint...) :-D

You Rock!!! I so appreciate your comparison of the currently available 750Wh eBikes selling < $2 grand. Your straight up comments help me cut to the chase! You can’t decide for me, since only I can know what really matters to me… But your comparisons really help. I decided that I want the Bee Cool 21Ah with rear suspension. Indeed, those are now absolute requirements for me. Now the challenge. Is that crappy shock on the Bee Cool really the problem? Or, is its geometry screwed up? They’re selling Black Friday for $200 less, so I could replace the shock with the savings. But if the geometry is screwed up, I’m going to totally regret spending 2 years of savings if they offer viable solutions in 2022… And one last thing. You showed that the cables have enough flex to raise the handlebars. But, you didn’t show if you turned 90° is there still enough cable? This is critical, because I require upright seating and changing all the cables would not be something I could do.

i did try turning the handlebars side to side and i believe you would be fine. i dont know about the geometry, i would have to switch out the shock to something softer before i could really answer that, havent found one i thought would fit perfectly yet. And have you seen the new offerings from Bee Cool, they have 4 new bikes!

Only con you missed on the Magicycle, which is the all-around favorite for me of the four, is their giant logo on the battery. I know manufacturers like to brand their bikes but that's kind of overkill and that name sounds like something you might call a product on a As Seen on TV infomercial. LOL
