The Citroën XM is an executive car that was produced by the French automaker Citroën between 1989 and 2000. Citroën sold 333,775 XMs during the model's 11 years of production. The XM was voted 1990 European Car of the Year. It is generally viewed as "the last real Citroen!

Give posthumous thanks to Nuccio Bertone and Bertone design most of french Citroen, Peugeot and Renault designs came from his hand. As example XM was his design and was originally intended for Lamborghini Athon designed in 1980.

When i was born my family had a 1990 Xm 2.0 petrol. We had it for about 4 years and after that we sold it. The guy who had bought it from us later told us that he had left the car at a parking lot and it was burned by a group of teenagers and then sent to the scrapyard. My dad later told me that it was the best car he had ever had. Update: my dad bought a 1995 phase 2 Xm 2.0 petrol yesterday and it’s a truly magnificent car Update 2: I’ve had my license for about 2 years and I bought an XM 3.0 24v Exclusive from 1997 after I got my license and I still have it. I must say that even after all these years I feel like the XM just keeps on getting better and better.

@@gangbangmidnight841 it depends if the hydropneumatic spheres are in a good condition. If so you can drive through speed bumps at 50km/h without noticing. If not, you are doomed 😱

@@gangbangmidnight841 Let me explain it that way: I worked for the german railway for many years. Many backroads near railroad stations are made of cobble stone. With my XM it never bothered me. Then my employer gave me a Ford Focus as company car. From that moment it was hell to drive those backroads! Short version: Bumpy roads, speed bumps? In an XM, where have they gone?

Unfortunately Citroen lost the charisma, originality and beauty of other times, when the brand was innovative and unique, DS, SM, CX, GS, XM, Xantia, now Citroen is just another car maker, nothing special, nothing fantastic, just ordinary cars.

Superb video, I own a white XM Pallas V6 24V produced in 1993. So it's exactly the XM version in the video. The present on the rear bench shifts positions from driver's side to the other side and back again, as seen at the end of the video. But the fine leather is a bit slippery and the XM does take some sharp turns, so this might be expected.😅

La xm v6 24 valves pas faite pour les performances c'est drôle! A l'époque j'ai vu une Saab 9000 turbo s'éloigner dans les rétros de la xm v6 24 dans laquelle j'étais installé grâce au pilotage mais aussi grâce au moteur et aux suspensions.

Je n avais pas les moyen de me payer des dizaines de caisses en meme temps faćon Akram junior . Donc je choisissait le modele le plus luxe d une marque... par exemple j,Avais la Porsche 928 gts la BMW 850 I Une Bentley Eight et une Daimler double 6. Ainsi j avais le top de 4 marques. Avant j ai eu la citroen cx prestige turbo (ma prermiere auto) .et j ai ajouté la xm v6 ambiance . Puis j ai eu la v6 24 exclusive pour la remplacer . La cx je l ai gardê longtemps. J ai eu des porsches entre temps . Á SONAUTO LEVALLOIS JE CONNAISSAIS TOUT LE MONDE. ! ILS M ONT TROUVÊ LA DERNIERE 928 SUR COMMANDE SPECIALE . PUIS LA 993 ( mon pere avait deja eu la fameuse 930 ) j ai des bons souvenirs .

06.02.2021 - Bella questa XM! Io ne ho posseduta una dal 1995 al 1999. Era una 2.000 injection nera. Poi, dopo aver avuto una Alfa Romeo 166 e una Jaguar X-Type, nel 2011 ho acquistato una Citroen C6, che ho ancora!!

The XM and C6 are those remarkable cars that stay on your mind if you ever driven one. And this come from a LR addict and collector. Dang my supercharger only give me chills on a straight line but those can put a smile any day making curves wether is in the death coast or as far as Stelvio pass.

You’d have to be a nutcase to buy any luxury car from new. At least with a Citroen you got a slice of original engineering thinking rather than an accountants penny pinching input. Unfortunately for the XM Peugeot had allowed too much bean counting to intrude and as a result it wasn’t as “pure” as the preceding CX and DS/ID in Citroen’s ideology of car design.
