I really like small cars, but these days manufacturers seem to think that small car buyers will be happy with a low power weedy engine. Cars are getting bigger and heavier and those of us who live alone or as just a couple without kids have little choice. Of course we could look for a used GTI or something, but I find most of them have been thrashed or modified. So, after a test drive, we bought a used 2016 C1 Puretech Flair 82 HP. I'm impressed! It pulls really well and has plenty of low-down torque.

How small are we talking cause whenever you feel like moving on the c1 you sound like a prime candidate for an MX5
@andyhowlett2231 Жыл бұрын
@@BuckleUpShow An MX5 would be good, but parking space is a major issue so we need a car no bigger than the c1. Second issue is that around here, an MX5 would be stripped bare in a month.

The wiper stalk actually works the same as the Toyota range , and you can change the wiper stalk with one from a Toyota auris, those parts are not made by Citroen at all

By the way, I think it would be a good idea to write the year of the car you're reviewing. After all, the models change throughout time, and somebody who looks for a specific year cannot find the video because it doesn't have the year in the title.

It's every 8, generally with a Facelift around the 4 year mark, and the agreed distinction as far as motoring publications are concerned tends to be pre or post facelift for any given model, not the model year. The second Generation Citroen C1 never had a distinct facelift so it's just the Citroen C1

Not related to the video, but I wonder why in some countries there are more manual cars but in others automatic. For example, more manual cars in Italy, Spain, UK, and more automatic cars in Sweden, Finland, Russia. It seems to me it depends on how poor the people are or something. Although it's strange for Russia, since Russians are pretty poor, certainly poorer than any Europeans. Maybe Russians just invest more in a car, or something. You would think that countries like Italy or UK should have much more automatic cars, being relatively small countries. Certainly more than Russia, where the distances one travels are usually longer. (I determined this by looking at the market of used cars)

Automatics have certain advantages in the snow, but maybe the British, Italians and Spanish just place driving enjoyment higher in their priorities when buying a car
