Never mind the differences, they are probably both fun to drive. I find my SportKa to have plenty enough power and great handling.

Even in basic form, the Ka was a great car to drive. The second generation was a real disappointment.

The second generation Ka was mainly based around the fiat 500 so not very for ford-like compared to the 1st gen

I currently own a citroen c2 and having owned a ford ka before it, my preference is to the latter - the ka is 100kg lighter, isn't full of electronic crap (digital dashboard, plug and play throttle and that awful tiptronic gear lever on the sports models) and is a lot more charismatic. Yes, it may rot quicker but it's a small price for a truly enjoyable car imo

I've had my SportKa for a few months now and it's my first car. I've recently started to learn how to kick the back end loose by going off throttle in the middle of a corner and it's been absolute wicked fun. Tiff is right about the brakes though, they are spongey and weak.

Really do wish they sold them in the states... I was never a big fan of pocket rocket cars until I bought a Suzuki Swift GTi and now I'm hooked. Plus my girlfriend wants a newer small car (currently has a Geo Metro) and I think she would enjoy the Ka. I mean it just looks like it would be fun to drive!

I cant belive he thinks that Ka have better interior than C2. Ka is terrible looking car and this is clearly paid add. Thats why I dont like fift gear.

Really? My friend has a c2 furio (looks exactly the same) and its awful. The seats look like chinese knock off recaros, they feel like you're sitting on bean bags, dash plastics feel cheap, gear stick feels terrible in the hand and not remotely sporty, it has about a 3 foot long throw between gears, and then there's that weird transparent design look they gave it. And that's without mentioning the terribly positioned window switches, goofy looking steering wheel, tiny boot.......etc.... The only thing better about the c2's interior is that it looks slightly more modern than the ka's........which is hardly an achievement considering the ka's was designed 7 years before it.

You cant compare ford ka ugliness with c2. C2 is ten times better and more good looking car than ford..Your frend must have had a bad version of c2 or something.
