I see this concept very similar to what Honda tried to with Honda BRV but with even less features. Also storing the seats when removed is concern. And finally if I want 7 seater I would rather get Kia Caren or Ertiga. Lower price simply feel compromised in ownership here.

It could carve some space out for itself provided Citroen delivers the product at a lower price. The C3 hatchback was not particularly aggressive in terms of pricing compared to the rivals.

This car needs 4-5 features to appeal for larger audiance Auto dimming IRVM, auto folding mirrors, Auto AC with rear AC vents, ventilated front seats and push button starts

Talking about door flaps Renault duster had same type but was a bit and all the other cars had other type door handles.

Little confued about this and tata Nexon any suggestion would be helpful in deciding. Nexon Creative + loaded with features but all model have worst interior spacing both driver and back comfort is very less. c3 Air-cross, no features but I liked the Seating comfort, spacing and practicality. Now my question to you, is choose nexon and adjust on space and comfomrt for the features and safety (or) Buy c3 air cross with zero features and enjoy ride quality and space comformt with 1 star safety? which will be a good buy for long run without any issues. And by the way nexon creative + cost 15laks and c3-air-cross cost 15laks for Max

I don't know what Citroen os thinking about indian consumer. Indian consumer want features, sunroof, build quality, good engine and mileage that too in an affordable price. Tata, Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai are not stupid to make feature rich cars. No one is going to buy this car when your car has interior and exterior 5-7 years old. Citroen need to perform a research on Indian market again.

@@cardekho Where do I start? I have been seeing some of their launches in overseas market. The overall quality fit and finish is not at par with Europe. However I know that during localisation you cannot have the same product. But C3 Aircross has missed most of the must haves in this segment. Just a comfortable ride won't have customers walking in. The big miss is the overall perceived quality of a European brand.

Disappointed with features… At least they should have basic features like Dedicated Power window button at rear, Projector lead lamps, cruise control, start stop button, Automatic AC, retractable side mirror. These are practical features I don’t haven’t given it. I was planning to purchase this car but features 😓

There is a diff. Between Simplicity and Cheapness. These door handles and no cruise control even in top model tells its a CHEAP car. Citroen is famous in whole world for making CHEAP CARS and they did same thing in India. AINT GONNA WORK

Already the 0 safety ratings of C3 has created doubts in the minds of INDIAN buyers. Now launching a car without an Automatic Transmission will hurt Citroen very badly. Very few manufacturers understand Indian buyers! - No Automatic Transmission on offer. - No Service Stations Nearby - No Marketing - No Sale Outlets - No Resale Additionally, It has a Hard Clutch and its only offered in Manual Transmission, who will buy Citroen? Its already killed on arrival by Strong Competition from Cretas, Seltos, Grand Vitara and upcoming Honda Elevate Even if this car is priced 2-3 lakhs lower than competion, still the chances of getting success are very thin. A price sensitive buyer in India always plays safe and buys Hyundai and Maruti. However this perception may change if Automatic Transmission is on offer!

key looks very cheap, window buttons placed not ergonomically, plastic quality and stiffness looks low, auto air quality and rear a/c vents should have been there, instrument cluster does not look good and automatic transmission required. Engine vibrations and noise should be less.

i took test drive honestly speaking didnt like this felt i am driving truck ...no driving pleasure ..arm rest is un positioned its very close to driver seat . engline noise too much this vehicle only suitable for taxi operators its not family car ...i will not suggest it .

Hey man, My job is not to paint a product good or bad. Because at the end of the day, buyers have different needs. All I can do is mention what it does right and what it misses. If the vehicle suits the needs of the buyers, they will respond. Otherwise, the product will flop. The C3 Aircross, features apart, is a comfortable and practical city SUV. And I hope that is what is being communicated here.

Every car is practical that's why it's sold, then comfortable, yes comfort varies but not by a big margin that you end up calling a car uncomfortable. So these 2 terms apply to every car that's sold.

@vamsi2406 yes, cars have come to a point where fine margins tilt the scales for a buyer. But each car has its USP or highlight. Things it does better than others in the segment. Things, that if are on your priority, you need to consider the vehicle for. For the C3, it's the practicality, boot space and comfort. It does these things better than a Creta, Kushaq etc. So if that is your prime focus in a car, the C3 AC will make sense. Given it comes that an acceptable price.

@@nabeelkhan4878 tbh 15-16 is still a bit too much. It Seems it's gonna come in a single variant. Honestly anything above 14 will be a deal breaker. Because sub 4m SUVs offer a lot more for their price and c3 doesn't. So the only way is to price it in sub 4m suv category as in that space, c3 ac will have advantage in engine, ride quality, space and practicality of 7 seats. Size of compact suvs (seltos category) but price of sub compact suvs compact(sonet category)
