people don't reliaze the driving dynamics is a safety feature..the vw/skoda cars are really good at.. cars are now coming with high ground clearance and heights.. that completely destroys driving dynamics.. and it affects the breaking of the car.. so if you drive a car and suddenly someone comes on the way.. none of the features will save you.. even adas fails.. if your car has good driving dynamics you can take a cut and apply brakes or move on and it will avoid accidents and won't topple or lose control.. but if you are in car with all the world features and bad driving dynamics then chances of getting into accidents is greatly elevated..

We all love German cars no doubt about that. But the main concern is reliability and maintenance cost. Which is the major deal breaker for Indian middle class buyers. No middle class guy wants those two headache, which is why Indian people goes for poorly built but reliable, easy to maintain Koreans or Japanese. They have to rebuild their image as easy to maintain brand. I'll definitely go for a VW or Skoda.
