@@manuvazquez2357 it's alive and well. If you looked a little ahead of the troll mindset you must have heard that they have a new belt material as well as engine oil recommendation which has fixed this issue or at least now it requires less maintenance. It's been going on since 2020-21.

At the official house they look for excuses not to do preventive maintenance on the belt, stelantis does not attend to damaged engines with less than 40,000 km. People continue to buy them because they ignore this problem and believe that the Peugeot or Citroën of 2024 are as reliable as they were in 2002, and they are not. All depends on demand & cost right now they don't need over investment & very high end factory that mistake already done by Ford India when they made Sanand Gujarat factory with 1 Billion dollar investment in the end sold to Tata in 725 crore.
