Just found this video on the c4owners forum. I'm having a similar problem with my C4GP rear suspension deflating overnight. It will stay up if I pump it up to the maximum height. It is otherwise functioning normally.

did you reset as it shows in the video or is there another way? Also do you know if these ride height sensors are protected in any way from the elements as I tend to get issues with my rear suspension whenever its very cold and/or damp.

Mine has same fault - however owners manual does say suspension self leveling does not operate if any doors are open. From an electronics knowledge background this whole fault scenario stinks of sensor problems. However also be warned my suspension collapsed on the M27 this week - initiating the 5mph crawl mode. Incredibly dangerous that a production car has a system that has no fail safe mode if you are above a certain speed. Pulled onto hard shoulder. Reset suspension - drove home !

I would help It's all about ... the last part of the suspension system is not sufficiently blown, or not at a level which should be.Prije a few months was being repaired because I broke rear axle since the car is much lower, I think the valves is problem which are controling the height of the car

Got the same problem, it was the bellows, quick fix, just 230GBP ( 2200SEK ) to fix it, not so bad. Im from sweden

A second C4 we own had collapsed suspension on the M1 at Leicestershire, at 70 mph there are no indicators on the suspension, so It just went down, kids complained the ride was getting bumpy! Not half! It does seem like another daft French idea; why not just leave the springs on like the Vti and also let us 'exclusive' owners have our spare tyre back. Does this mean that Exclusive is so exclusive - they never have punctures? Grrr Really annoyed at stupidity and lack of basic design concepts

There are two ride height sensors - part no. 5273 E9 Located around the airbag suspension - left and right

Simple, you don't have enough battery voltage to pump the air, after starting the car it works

Some fixed this suspension problem on my C4GP with changing to normal spring suspension... not even a hour work doing that.

How do you turn off the bloody suspension, I don't need it to go up and down every time I drive. Today it was down all the way home, so I had to crawl over the speed bumps like I was driving a Lambo.

hahahaha, dont buy citroen anymore... have good engines but their ideas are ruining everything, i have xantia and its fkin makin me go crazy

Citroen is a good brand. Anyone who has problems with the air suspension can simply switch to helicoidal springs, remove the compressor and, in addition, deactivate the functions through the software citroen. In Portugal they sold the c4 grand picasso exclusive and c4 grand picasso confort (this with helical springs and space for spare tire) is very safe an cheaper than the pneumátic spring system.

Do you know how much costs to replace suspension airbag of an Audi a6 allroad 2007 or maybe BMW e61 touring from 300 -1300€ each no one said" shitty german cars" because premium cars have PREMIUM prices, french cars are little cheaper to maintain, try ebay

Same fault - getting expensive bullshit from Citroen and aylesbury dealer differing from milton keynes dealer, who contradicts RAC engineer and independent. Basically Citroen want to replace the pump at £900. everyone else else says its the sensor. Aylesbury Citroen says there is no sensor, two other engineers say they have replaced sensors! Cowboys exist

Your suspension airbags are leaking. You will also need a compressor soon, as it's being overworked from having to repressurise every day. Good luck with this awful car.
