engine should be so bad>> Few days ago visited dealer citroen , told me don't look to this engine. Recomendation was 1.6 hybrid. Anyway went with C5 X :D

Had the previous version of the C5 Aircross with the Puretech 1.2. It is a way better engine that the spec sheet suggests. It can pull and it is more than sufficient for a family. Shame though that Dayco who supplied the timing belt for the engine, supplied a subpar product and there is a recall to change the belt. But from 2022 all those have been corrected, and they are now timing chains. The 1.2 Puretech never felt sluggish to me at any point, but yes if you want to be moved along pretty swiftly the 1.6 is the choice and the 1.6 Hybrid even better.

@@HologramJones The 1.2 is good enough indeed, has a nice pull to it. 1.2 hybrid is even better in terms of pull, the gearbox is also quicker
