If we compare Alpha Grand vitara AT 17 lakh with Aplha Grand vitra intelligent electric hypbrid 20 lakh for 2 lakh km drive. Following are the result of amount of price of petrol and battery. Alpha normal AT : Purchase cost showroom = 17 lakh Average= 16km per litre Per km cost = Rs 6.6 Km driven = 200000 km Cost of fuel = ₹ 13,12,500 Alpha intelligent electric hybrid AT : Purchase cost showroom= 20 lakh Average= 27 km per litre Per km cost = Rs 3.9 Km driven = 200000 km Cost of fuel = ₹ 7,78,000 **Cost of battery change= ₹ 400000. ( if we take two time change in battery for 2 lakh driven car the cost may be 4 lakh, not sure, let take it 4 lakh with 2 lakh one time.) Total cost of running 2 lakh km as following: Alpha normal AT : ₹13,12,000 Aplha intelligent electric hybrid AT : cost of fuel + cost of battery = ₹ 11,78,000 Result Intelligent electric hybrid car is ₹ 1,34,000 ( 1312000 - 1178000) . So it is ₹ 1,34,000 cheaper for cost of running the car for 200000 km. ** If we have exact cost of battery then result are more realistic.

One difference pointed out here is the display of mileage in the car's display is different from the calculated (18.5 against 17.9) . This means the manufacturers are setting the mileage calculation little bit higher than the actuals. So consider somewhere between 1 to 0.5 km/L lower than what is being displayed by the car

There is no point buying mild hybrid in grand vitara. Rather go for creta. Mileage in mild hybrid and creta is same in city driving. Plus you get more powerful engine in creta.

My decision was mild hybrid 1.4 turbo with 129 HP MT 4x4 (AllGrip). Fuel consumption difference is around 1 liter for 100 km, price difference aroud 5000 EUR in my country. So I need 240000 km, when costs will be balanced.

i have been driving a GV Mild Hybrid in combination with City & highway for daily office runs and I consistently get an average of 15.5 to 16.0. this average increases to 18-19 in Highway runs. yeah, it feels underpowered for highway run, but city run is excellent. I enjoy the spaciousness that the car offers. liked your videos of doing very realistic checks. however, one suggestion I would like to give is to run both the cars at the same time so traffic and all remains same in all condition. rest thumbs for the video

Thanks for making this comparison, it seems that for long drives, the difference is not much. So as per my understanding its better to take a small Electric vehicle like Tiago EV if you have a lot of city drive. Easy to maneuver, easy to charge, safe and economical as well and take a mild hybrid SUV (if someone can afford) if you have a lot of highway drives. Please suggest, thanks

So practically paying 5 to 6 lakh more is not worth it if driving this petrol car on highways and if one is looking a better mileage city car in petrol then he can choose the 20 lakh variant of breeza but it is pointless 😒..... Great review👍👍😄🙏 but car and price is not worth it.... My petrol car tata altroz give city mileage with ac on 13kmpl max and minimum 7.5kmpl Price 7 lakh Suppose i use breeza pure hybrid petrol price 20 lakh and if it provide me mileage of around 17 then still going for a diesel car is much better option then going for breeza zeta variant..... Plus the higher tax i had to pay while buying and then higher emi cost etc etc.. Just my opinion

Within a year, you’ll see diff in running cost Suppose you’re driving ~15000/year … SmartHybrid, will cost around 1L, while StrongHybrid will cost around 80K.. However, considering the factor that strongHybrid is 3L costlier, it will not be easy to cover diff in 5 years running.

I've been driving GV Strong hybrid for a month now and travelled around 1600 kms. The mileage is still showing 17-18 KMPL. Is this expected? Does it take time for the mileage to increase?
