Citroen / Peugeot - Cabin Fan / Blower Not Working

On this car , Citroen C3 , the cabin fan / blower was not working. All fuses checked by owner and found in good condition. More strange the cabin blower was also receiving +12V power

Well-made video and very informative, Had the same water problem. Water got into car thought the fan duct, soak my carpets as well. Air motor just died, So I clean the water drain out and unblocked the pipes of leaves debris which had turn to mud. Paper towelled the carpet. Then I used Dehumidifier Crystals on the dashboard for three days. It dried out all the Condensation on the car windows, which kept me driving, and on the third day the fan started working again. Crystals only cost a £1 nice cheap fix. One last thing, run the heater to dry the thing out. Could save a few quid.

The 30A fuse holder causes this problem with our C3. The resistance causes the plastic of the fuse to mold. Tighten the connection and a new fuse => prolblem solved! regards, Paul.

Good video. The fusebox replacement is pretty cheap. Got one from poland for 20$, and changing it took 15 minutes. Didn’t solve my issue though.. My blowers not working and I have automatic AC, and it seems like any guides for fixing it are under the stone..

Do you get power to the blower ? Tested the blower with 12v directly ? is the blower resistor in good working condition ? If you bypass the relay like I did , does the fan start spinning ?

Hi maybe you can help with my Peugeot 207. Air blower stopped working. Resistor, fuse, manual panel ok. Aielr blower was damage, Changed to another one and after half day also died, what is happening?? Any ideas?

Hi. i need help! im about to replace the resistor for the fan but can´t find it? it´s supposed to be on the passengers side behind the glovecompartment but it´s not? Anyone with instructions or a manual for a peugeot 407 SW 2007?? PLS HELP.

Buna treaba. Ma confrunt cu o problema asemanatoare la un citroen c4. O sa incerc sa ii dau curent direct sa vad daca funtioneaza. Ma puteti ajuta cu o schema cum as putea monta un releu separat pentru a evita releul care exista in cutia cu sigurante BSM? Daca pur si simplu folosesc masina cu ventilatorul alimentat direct la 12v fara releul din cutia de sigurante ce riscuri sunt? Am vrut sa cumpar din reprezentanta BSM nou si mi-au spus ca nu o poate cere din franta... si pe langa asta mi.au spus pretul ei care este de 270€.... Multumesc frumos!

The same thing happened to me I have a c 4 2011 earth wire on passengers wing sprayed with contact spray heater worked straight away
