So here we have it: my favourite and most complete afternoon.

fun fact when Digimon Tamers aired on CITV only four episodes aired witch was most likely due to the darker storyline

It may have been a combination of that and mostly just not caring about the viewers that wanted to watch it.

I actually think it was a contract issue. GMTV had the rights to any current animated shows that Disney made (GMTV was partly owned by Disney). CITV had rights to past series that Disney made. CITV starts to air Digimon Tamers. Disney buys out Saban (Dubbers of Digimon) Thus, the rights to Digimon Tamers move over to GMTV. Digimon Adventure 1 & 2 can still be aired by CITV. Remember, until 2009 GMTV and CITV were separate.

@@InsaneGamersOfficial GMTV and CITV had a rights sharing deal that allowed them to share programs between GMTV and CITV henceforth the Citv showings of Sabrina the animated series and Disney's Recess. GMTV was also partly owned by itv plc. Cardcaptors was orignally licenced for CiTV but the remaining episodes aired on GMTV2 Apparently.

Now do not get me wrong, I hate Ronald McDonald for definite so the only things I liked in that advert were the singing birds, the singing slippers, the singing rubber duck and the cute little dog (sadly the birds and dog would be dead by now).
