you have no idea how impressive it is that you managed to make a city that's desolate by design feel so alive, especially the scene with the metrocop driving the prisoner transport truck and then getting out. one of my new favorite rain asmrs "you are charged with capital malcompliance" so relaxing

I LOVE the fact that you actually move slowly through the environnement, although the very loud female announcer voice² through the speaker prevents me from sleeping to this, it would be perfect without it I usually prefer STALKER's ambience videos because stalker's world is so lively that in 1 hour there are plenty of unscripted things happening, like monsters roaming about, NPC factions having firefights in the distance, you hear some npc patrols going around or coming back to their base from hunting depending as the day goes to the night etc... all the things that 99% of games don't do and it's hard for me to sleep knowing that in videos like this, i know the game won't do anything, that it's just a short pre-determined loop of a very few things happening If anyone enjoys those ambience videos to sleep, i totally recommend Sabulani's STALKER playlist, they aren't all the same quality as this video here but the ambience of the game are just so much better, with rain, wind, animals, monsters, human npcs, the camp fire cracking sound effect etc...

i was walking home from my 12 hr shift making civil protection gasmasks when a civil protection officer stopped me and asked if I wanted to hear his Rick and Morty impression. Man, feels so homey, like I'm back in City-9. Those civil protection guys were some of the better ones, less executions more beatings, at least I could know a guy there long enough to hear about his family. Just don't get relocated to City-4, even saying 'Family' here gets you shipped off to Nova Prospekt.

Source 2 is impressive graphic engine. Love CS 2 and Half Life Alyx just like Half Life and classic Counter Strike versions. Same with Source Half Life 2 we got CSS. With Half Life Alyx source 2 we have CS 2. Always Half Life is back bone of Counter Strike series.

I like to imagine myself as a citizen sleeping with my GF. Our lives are not easy, but okay enough to get by and have a simple life. We come home after a long day at work and gathering essentials for our survival. The CPs don’t bother us much - we don’t do or own much. Aside from our clothes and a few pieces of furniture (bed, table, and chairs), our flat is in a quiet neighbourhood tucked away far enough for the announcer’s voice to be faint, but audible enough to hear important updates. It’s rainy and cold outside, but we have the blankets and ourselves to keep ourselves warm. Needless to say, life is okay, knowing neither of us will be sleeping and living alone in this heartless and oppressive dystopia.
