As a young kid I would fall asleep to his albums on little gray CD player. My mother would always start it for me. I could not sleep without it. The sound of his angelic voice, the sound of his harmonic guitar, it all fuzed to create something so special for myself and his audience. As I became older I developed an understanding of his lyric, as I started to experience the things he had sung about. His songs provide a sense of security, knowing that Dallas can understand the things I have had to endure, even if he doesn’t know of my existence. Even still as a 16 year old, I listen to his songs to sleep on an Amazon Alexa Dot. Him and his songs will always have a place in my heart. To me he is the best, and always will be. Legends never die, and he truly is a legend in my world. His music is powerful enough to give me the courage to keep on with life. His music that was once only a lullaby to me became something that I can fully understand and cherish as I got older. Edit: I wish I got to see him with my eyes.

I have loved Dallas Green for over a decade. He is one of the best songwriters & singers that has ever existed. No one knows who City & Colour is when I say they are one of my favorite groups, but I enjoy all his talent & soul. 'Bring Me Your Love' & 'A Pill For Loneliness' are my favorite albums. I saw City & Colour in 2013. He got a phone call on stage & announced his brand new baby being born. I took my nephew who never heard of City & Colour & he really was impressed.

I've been a fan of Dallas Green since the early Alexisonfire days before anyone knew who they were. I saw them for the first time back in 2003 in Kingston Ontario at a bar called AJs Hanger, might have been 50 people there. I've been a City and Colour fan since day one. His music is so powerful yet so calming. His voice and guitar tone, along with his song writing abilities are a combination that no one else can match, at least not in my opinion. I've been fortunate enough to have seen Alexisonfire and City and Colour live many times and feel like a huge part of my life growing up wouldn't have happened without them.

Also, father john misty, war on drugs, even fleet foxes on their latest album sound better live(pretty sure their lead singer actually saught help to sound/sing better live and it SUPER worked).
