While I have always adored Dallas, this album was him at his best, in my opinion. Every album ceases to compare.
@jean-michelc.82127 жыл бұрын
I agree with that. His albums changed with time. Not necessarily in a negative way, but nothing that could be compare with Sometimes.

Little hell was tremendous. Bring me your love is a classic. And a pill for loneliness was amazing. Especially Living in Lighting. Still my favorite CaC song

I do agree musically I enjoy this album the most… however the depth of writing in bring me your love I don’t think anything Compares to that.

I couldn't agree more. If you play guitar, you'll understand just how incredible this song is; that bridge is way more complicated than it seems

This song was actually written by Casey Baker if i'm not mistaken... he used to tour with him back in the days, I saw them live together.
@emilsn919 жыл бұрын
+JackPronto Please tell me more? Who is Casey Baker? Was it his song covered by Dallas?
@JackPronto9 жыл бұрын
+Emil Smith Nielsen He is the frontman on Casey Baker and the buffalo sinners. I don't think they exist anymore. There is some music on youtube, look it up, it's pretty good. I think he wrote the song, and then he liked Dallas's version more so he "gave" it to him. That's the story I remember, I could be wrong. He told the crowd of a live show I was in back in like 2008-2009 I dont remember what year, sorry I have a shit memory lol.

I agree, this album is his Apex. Eventually he migrated to country music and a more ordinary sound. But "Sometimes" will forever be the most emotional and touching album.
