Let's be honest.. how many artists can you listen to for 9+ minutes and not even dare change it? Dallas has been an inspiration for all of us aspiring musicians and everything he writes brings up new thoughts and old memories for me. I hope he does the same for you.

At 8:10 in, I was worried the song would be over soon...when I checked to see how much time it had left, I wanted it to be longer. It's the first time I've felt that way about a song this long. Thank you, Dallas.

Very nice comment. The emotional and physical effects from his music make me feel things I've Never felt. You either feel it or you don't. I've seen people just shrug there shoulders as if its just like any other song/music. I feel like this makes his music that more personal and special. 😇

Well it's no "Day old Hate" or "Confessions" but this is pretty dang cool in its own right. Not sure I will ever fully accept a City and Colour album which isn't primarily acoustic guitar alongside Dallas singing like an angel, but I'll just have to adapt to the new style like everyone else. But I'll never forget what made me adore his music in the first place, which was the original stuff. Let's hope he has some throwback tunes on this new record.

Everytime i listen to it all i think of is making pottery in Ceramics class with my hands. Listened to this song every morning. I was going through a rough time back then and coming back listening to this again after a year of getting out of my depression and crazy anxiety it makes me uneasy but calm. I hold a lot of emotions behind this song. There would be times id break down crying in class but i made sure no one knew. But im glad i've moved on and Im happier person now. The only person who can really make you happy is yourself. I know no one is gonna care but I just feel to type it out.

If I Should Go Before You Over the last two years I've had the great pleasure of touring with an unbelievable group of musicians, who I can now safely call some of my best friends. If I Should Go Before You is the record I made with those friends. It's not "exclusive" to anyone - Not to Tidal or Apple Music or Spotify or Rdio or anywhere in particular - but you can find it in all those places. It’s a collection of 11 songs - the thoughts I had on my mind: a last ditch effort to find something better and leave well enough alone. You can steal it, stream it or even buy it! Just try to enjoy it. I know I do. - dallas. If I Should Go Before You will officially be released, worldwide, on Friday, October 9, 2015.
