I do understand both sides but being that you’re already short on emergency responders and you spent all this money on migrants do something that the community ask. If he takes this away Im truly worried how bad it will get… it already takes time for them to respond this will turn into police never coming to the scene. Best believe criminals are watching this decision.. then again you ask yourself he knew this contract renewal was coming up which was probably already accounted for in the yearly budget but yet went into that money and gave it away now the excuse we don’t have that money. We never had it in the first place the mismanagement of money is gonna sink the city of Chicago and make the taxes continue to nearly triple

Shot spotter helps us at Schoolcraft and greenfield they visited us twice so far on our block even next door. Shots were often in the hood now we don't hear gun fire as much. Tough neighborhood better now. You have to live there to understand. People are generally crazy. Every but us has guns.
