I went there a few months ago. I could not believe how hilly it was. Hard to believe this is barely over an hour from New Orleans.

Yeah, once you get north of the lake, it's no longer as flat.

City hall may invest more in downtown and surroundings must be revitalized downtown

The town already did a streetscape project about a decade ago along Washington Street and adjacent intersections. They are talking about doing some more work...what, they haven't come to a consensus yet.

@@504RoadTrips I never seen CVS pharmacy in small towns in Central Texas. Maybe, there are decent population surrounding area of Franklinton.

A lot of people in the small towns in Mississippi just to the north do their shopping in Franklinton. But now, since Walgreens and CVS have bought up all of their competition, you’re likely to see one pop up anywhere there is a Walgreens. .
