You're not understanding what the op was trying to convey. City Girl makes amazing music, and of course we would all want them to be as popular as they wanted to be. The desire that the op was expressing comes in the form of a correlation between success and popularity. The more popular City Girl gets, the more likely they'll be subjected to trollish comments and scrutiny. As long as City Girl gains a following through word of mouth, or mutual friends, there's a lower chance for there to be people that really don't value, appreciate, and care about the impact that the artist is creating. Don't assume that if this video had 20 million views that the dislikes couldn't ever exceed the likes... People are rude and disinterested when it comes to new things. I'd honestly expect a more understanding audience in this comment thread.

your music helped me with my anxiety, it calmed my soul and made me go to sleep. Whilst I was asleep, I dreamt about a place with bright, fluffy snow in a forest and climb atop a mountain. Or a hidden, tropical island with clear waters so that I can see the beautiful sealife below and sometimes I even jump into the water, a stingray comes up beneath me then I follow it to a colorful reef and fall back asleep... One last dream I have sometimes is that I am in space, the sky is a beautiful pink, blue, and purple. I see stars all around me I find a small floating rock with luscious, green grass and a big willow tree. I move- almost like I am swimming- towards that tree and fall asleep under it while staring at the moon. Your music makes me and others feel calm, it is amazing and I would never want you to stop because of how awesome it is.
