Because "we" have stopped exercising them out of fear, conformity, idiocy, lunacy, or wannabe authoritarians like you see in city halls. What you do is actually way more important than you even imagine. The power of just one of your videos is enough to change the country. Enough to get others to do the same. Hypothetically, if at least 10% of us did stuff like this regularly, we would be much more free than we are now. Because the "tone" of our rights would be stiff and firm. Anyone who pushed too hard against our rights would regret it for decades, rather than casually moving on with life despite committing unconstitutional acts.

Great audit again. You ought to use the name Blaine Tiff. Re normal, there are plenty of things that are not 'the norm'. Little people, people in wheelchairs, and people with green hair to name a few. People wearing masks in public certainly changed from abnormal to normal in a blink of an eye. Are City Hall employees calling police anytime one of the aforementioned seek access to services at City Hall? I betcha calling police about them is not normal. And the police department despatching officers to investigate these abnormal occurrences is also not normal. So, why it is the camera that gets the response?

To the City Hall in Bayonne, NJ: Damn good job. Maybe not perfect but we aren't looking for perfection (at least I'm not). I think this is the most positive audit I have watched of LIAs and it's a breath of fresh air. I've watched every one of LIA's videos and sadly it has made me feel that none of us understand what our freedoms and rights are, but more importantly our government seems to not understand. You have made my day a little better now that I can see there's still hope. To Major: You are a treasure and I have nothing but utmost respect for you. Your city should be proud to have you. We should all be more like Major. To the Bayonne, NJ police: I have to say it....good job. We have seen nothing but abuse and mistreatment towards LIA in most of his videos. You guys did not do that at all and I thank you for it. This may not mean much coming from someone random, but if all police acted like you the divide between police and citizens wouldn't be like it is today. Again, not perfect but I couldn't care less about perfection. You did just fine and I want to thank you for that. I have held nothing but contempt for police for many years, but you may have just moved me a bit. Damn good job.

I agree! One of LIA's videos that impressed me was one where law enforcement officers were preventing him from recording in a public building. As events unfolded, and through quite civil interactions, LIA was allowed to record. Instead of humiliating and demeaning the officers, LIA was gracious and made every attempt to allow the officers to leave honorably. Quite a refreshing contrast to the approach used by most other "cop-hater" auditors on KZbin.

@Rights On 🇺🇲 It took longer than I expected for someone to try and remove any positivity that can be found. I mean, this is youtube comments so it's expected unfortunately. I read your comment and then I thought about it for an hour. I can easily put myself in your shoes because I also hold a lot of anger towards the police. I teach my kids to never ever talk to the police because I do believe they are an enemy of the people. Not the individuals of course, but rather the culture in it's entirety. What I'm saying is I didn't watch this video hoping to see something good, but rather I was looking for the problems. You and I started from the same position but ended differently. I assumed what you have stated as fact to be factual and I assumed that Major's intentions were deceptive (as if you can say one way or another). Even with all that on your side I still say your argument is trash. What if Major really was talking bad about Sean behind his back and got caught? Are you telling me A COP decided to pretend nice, talk with Sean peacefully, walk around the building while explaining what the city has to offer, and not copsplain? Bullshit. I've never seen a cop not double down because that's exactly what they are trained to do. They don't do damage control. But again I will give you that. Fine, Major was just blowing smoke up Sean's ass to make the city look good. What the fuck more could you possibly want? Should Major have got on his knees and started choking on Sean's cock? Jesus fuck me christ could Major have done anything at all to make you happy? He didn't tell Sean he couldn't do what he was doing, he wanted to show off the veteran wall, and walked Sean around like a personal tour. Cop or not he did his fucking job well. You state that all those people acted that way because of the culture in that city hall. Ok....great. I see no issue with that. No one tried kicking him out, a couple people were kinda cunty but still did nothing wrong, and for the most part it was a positive experience AS SEAN STATED HIMSELF. But then you just had to start in on that reality TV bullshit and suggest somehow being a Democrat (again I'm assuming you are correct but I'll probably regret that) surely means they are evil lizards eating babies and hating america. OK ok I added that part about the lizards and stuff, but seriously stop drinking the kool aid dude. That shit is a cancer. Neither side hates america, it's just people with different opinions and has nothing to do with this video. The fact that you added it in should prove how cancerous your thinking is, and completely demolishes your credibility. Lastly, you ask your readers to listen to what Capt. Major said to his cops, yet you don't spell out what he said. I ask that you do. Please tell us what he said. I'm struggling to hear what you hear. Again, I'll assume he said Sean's a piece of dogshit who is just trying to stir up trouble (I'm trying to give you lots of rope here). Major still didn't direct anyone to do any harm to Sean in any way. You state that he walked him out of the building, yet Sean walks right back in after the tour. We don't see whether they walked in together, but even so Sean walked right back in. You think Major just gave up and walked away because Sean was just too smart for him? You are adding things in that you think or want to happen but didn't actually occur in the video. If Major is a cop then good. We need more like him. I don't give a fuck what he personally believes or says, I only care what his actions are. His actions were fine and I commend him for it.

@John Baer I disagree, for I believe it proves that *anyone* can do as Sean has done and exercise their Constitutional rights. No identification or credentials were demanded of him, He was not searched, And he was permitted to conduct his business while recording the entire time. As anyone who watches this channel and others like it know, sometimes the government officials display and exercise their ignorance of our rights. In such cases, Sean and the other auditors like him post these encounters. As a result, it embarrasses the city as they are exposed online, and as is often the case, the viewers contact the city officials by email, and by posting on the city's website, Facebook page, Twitter etc. Over time (yes, it will take time) the city officials and employees will no longer be ignorant of the rights of the citizens, and more and more will adjust their behavior accordingly. However, no matter what, there will _always_ be a few bad apples...but what Sean and others like him are doing will, and _currently are_ creating a paradigm shift in public awareness. I say, Thank You to Sean for his boldness, courtesy and steadfastness in serving this cause.

@@mbgrafix I couldn't have said it better, Mike. There is a divide between law enforcement and "the people". Police officers are NOT our masters. The sooner they realize this, the sooner folks will start trusting them again. Most COPS do not even know the law. Although they take an oath to our Constitution, I would say that at least half of them don't even know what the Bill of Rights says. This is why we have so much backlash against law enforcement these days. More training is definitely needed for LEO's. As of today 209,000 people saw what great people serve Bayonne, NJ. I thought Bayonne was some dirty, gritty North Jersey city. After listening to Major, I think I want to move there. Everyone else was pretty nice as well. This is the way a public building should be. These people have nothing to hide, and in fact, have lot to brag about. Congratulations Bayonne! Loved the Hall of Veterans. Your audits and videos are shedding so much light for me (and I'm sure for many others!) on our constitutional rights. This is how you create change.

Yes!!! The hall of Veterans is amazing & the amazing MoH wall downstairs! I wonder if those are hometown recipients downstairs, or they are just have a few listed. Very good audit though.

@@pmcgns10 yes the 3 Medal of Honor recipients are Bayonne guys. Stephen Gregg, Nicholas Oresko, and William Shemin. The Hall of Heroes are photos of anyone who has served HONORABLY in any of the services and live or lived in Bayonne. Mayor Davis worked with an Boy Scout who was working on his Eagle Scout project and this was the result. Pretty cool, right?

They haven’t left you alone long enough so you can walk around the building. Everytime you turn a corner someone is trying to tell you where you should be. Or what you must do. To please everyone is to accomplish ZERO! You’ve been in one place for ever since you walked in the door.

I love First Amendment audits. And Sean, you are definitely my favorite auditor. Today is my 70th birthday and viewing this has made my day. Although your encounter with the city employees started off a little bit uncomfortable, the officers seemed cordial once they realized that you were not a threat. And I absolutely loved Major. He is the most personable respondent I've ever seen in an FAA. And he is so proud of his city and its veterans. If I lived near there, I would like to go there for a visit. I admit that you came into contact with a Karen or two, but Major more than made up for their immaturity and lack of cordiality. Please keep up the good work, Sean.
