Omg, you sound just like me! My two are also 22 months apart and I also got the Bee with the ride-on board! As they have gotten older I too have realized that if I want them both to get good naps in while we're out all day a double is a necessity!

Exact same scenario here too. 22 months age gap. I caved in when I once had to carry newborn for 5 hours straight and got a sore back after. Wished for a double. My eldest loves it I think she’s less jealous of the newborn.

Thank you for this video, expecting our second little one in May and will have an 18 month age gap! Like you I am also in denial about double buggies being v. uncool and not practical for a newborn. I have the baby jogger double gt and it’s fab just wished it fitted on our local bus it fits fine in shops etc just a stupid bus design which doesn’t accommodate any side by side pushchairs

Hi I'm just wondering, in this video you show that adapters for bassinet and car seats are available to buy but when I have looked into buying a 'city mini double' second hand the owners have told me they aren't compatible with car seats etc.. is yours possibly a newer model? It's so hard to find the right information

Hi Tara there are adaptors for the bassinet but it's not compatible with car seats xx

What do you do about rain covers? Did you have to buy one for carrycot and one for individual seat and then once newborn big enough buy a double rain cover? I want to buy this but am finding it annoying how I have to buy everything separately because so far I can only purchase the double with 1 carrycot but then I have to buy separate adapters, separate foot muffs and now 3 separate rain covers??

Will the rain cover come over the pram if one side has the carrycot attached to it ?

Sorry but are you able to explain whether there should be two hoods for the buggy or whether the one off the carrycot comes off for the side being used when not in use of that makes any sense ?

Hi! Yes so the bassinet has its own separate hood and then the buggy also had two hoods x

Hi how is this pram on the bus and getting through doors. does it fit on the bus. And how much space does it take in your boot ? Would it fit in polo.

Naomi Newton it fits easily in our boot but our boot is quite big! Fits fine on the bus (it’s the width of a wheelchair)
