“hello ladies and gentlemen behind me is the glorious city of Bath you can see how it sits in the foot of the ancient crater in fact right now up from the time and memorial there were hot springs right in the city center locals had a small shrine and when romans came they built a massive temple
Aqua Sulis around the Holy Springs you can enjoy these views from Alexandra Park it's the park that sits on the top of the hill in a village called Bear Flat and it overlooks the entire city presenting you with the most spectacular views right there you see Poultney Bridge an intrinsic part of the city of bath what once used to be a very busy ferry route is now a bridge boltney bridge crosses the river even it was completed by 1774 and it took about 20 years to build it the bridge is built in limestone in a classical palladian style its architects Robert and James Adam based it on a
design of Ponte Vecchico and ponte di rialto both bridges are based in Italy behind me you see probably the newest addition to this river this weir was constructed in 1960s to calm the river down and to make sure that the flooding is no longer an issue but now it became such a beautiful thing
