I read this book close to 20 years ago and saw this movie a few years later but it all came flooding back to me as soon as I started watching. I thought this was and still is a Great Movie and adaption for the screen! I still have my original book and I always thought it was fascinating that runners that deliver messages was a job. I wish it was now, that's what I would be doing. This book is honestly why I got into cross country early and still enjoy running as a major hobby.

It looks good. I’ll comment again after I watch. One reviewer was disappointed in the lack of action sequences, which is idiotic reasoning. Most films with action depend on action too much. I tend to like films the critic pan, but audiences like. This appears to be that.
