City testing equipment to mitigate the stink at Riverside sewage lift station

Tim Pingel, Sioux City Utilities Director, talks about the piece of equipment the city is hoping will knock down offensive odors coming from the city's Riverside sewage lift station. The equipment, currently in a one-month tryout period, mixes ozone from the air with water and injects it down the station's wet well to inhibit bacteria growth and its associated noxious smell.
