I'm so inspired after discovering your channel and two others which are "One woman farms" and much thought about the lifestyle change myself. I am eager to learn from you and these other amazing women. Single 27yr old mother with full custody of an 8yr old who's also excited to grow up on a farm. I know it's gonna take practice and mentors. But we'll get there!

I can't wait till April and the Homesteading conference. We are urban wanna be homesteaders and I can't wait to get property. My husband asked me the other day if I was interested in raw land or someplace with a home I told him the land was my first priority. Many things to consider when making the move. Thank you for an excellent video and I can't wait to watch part 2.

Hey Dawn:) I am in that same transitionary period of being in an urban setting and wanting to move out. I grew up in an orchard and I thought I wanted the urban life but after 15 years here, I'm ready to move on. I'm looking for land myself, because a house and land seems unachievable in my life. I've decided to start out in a yurt, and eventually build my own cob house. You should look into these as some alternatives. Good luck!

I'm in the process of buying homesteading land because I grew up with a mom who grew up on a farm and taught me how to can, sew and grow a garden as well as have a flower bed and I really enjoy it, I live in a big city and I enjoy the country. I love your homestead channel it's educational for me for some things that I'm not sure of.

You deliver the plain truth, not the fluffy stuff and that's what we need to hear.

Thanks for a great video. I'm a new subscriber to your channel and so far I'm loving it. I'm hoping to make a move over the next few years but I know I have a lot to consider in the meantime.First and foremost I need to figure out if I can actually make some sort of homestead work for me as a single woman. All the points you have brought up are excellent and have given me a lot of food for thought.
