In Fort Collins, we have access to boundless outdoor beauty - but it might be easy to overlook one of our most precious gems: the night sky. At the City, we work to protect the night sky through education and dark sky approved recommendations to ensure that anyone who steps outside and looks up experiences the magic of a star-studded sky.

Having been born and raised here, with a keen love of the outdoors and stargazing, I've certainly seen the light pollution grow since childhood, and its good to see the city put effort into ood practices and mitigating it. Keep it up!
