Beautiful, scenic walk but I was unable to hear you after around 7 min in. At first, I thought it was on my end until an ad came on loud and clear. That being said, I thoroughly did enjoy my scenic walk this morning :)

Thanks for letting me know. I thought I’d fixed that but obviously didn’t. Sorry about that. Audio has been my biggest challenge in making these. -H

I recently found you and have been enjoying these walks while on my treadmill. Thanks for making them available. I grew up just north of the Montana border in Saskatchewan Canada, literally 20 minutes from the border. I find your content refreshing and it reminds me of home. Well done! I too couldn’t hear your commentary from the 7 minute mark but still enjoyed a stroll through this quiet small town.

Hi Shirley, thanks so much for the comment. Yes on this one I messed up the audio. It seems to be a constant struggle for me to get that just right. So glad this reminds you of home. Glad you found the channel and thanks for speaking up. - H

Love looking at my mothers hometown when ever you walk Livingston. Saw my Uncles house on ur walk. He’s passed on but great memories there and in the entire town. I think I told you before that my mother was the last of 14 children. All gone now. I have a few cousins left in Livingston. Most have moved on. Thanks for the walk!

Thanks so much for sharing that and yes I remember your earlier comment. So glad you got to see your uncles house. Must have been so different with your mother growing up here. Cheers. - H

Hi Henry. Having that high ground overlooking Livingston seems wonderful. I imagine it makes for great stargazing, and a source of artistic inspiration for painters. Did you play soccer, or only coach it? I'm not much of a sports fan, but I do really enjoy watching European soccer, especially the English Premiere League. Thank you for another calming and beautiful walk. Take care.
@CityWalks3 жыл бұрын
Hi Tom, we seem more and more alike. I played a bit as a kid and there was a fun league I played in for awhile but I also love watching European football too. Glad you enjoyed it. -H

@@CityWalks Our similarities are probably a big part of why I enjoy your channel. It feels like spending time with a friend. I just read that Vermont is getting a USL 2 soccer team, which is two leagues below MLS and will be mostly college age prospects. I think the games should be fun, and in typical Vermont fashion, they are pledging to be carbon neutral.

@@TomSealey That sounds great. I'd love to have a similar level in this area. Probably not enough population to support it. -H

not sure what happened but definite audio change around 6:48 mark where it became inaudible while watching on tv. Went back on phone and could hear okay but definitely could hear the drop. Also I am very inexperienced on this stuff but can you explain the patreon association and what that will mean to your viewers going forward?
@CityWalks3 жыл бұрын
Hi Steve. Thanks for letting me know about that. I actually thought I had fixed the issue but apparently I did something wrong. Audio has been the biggest challenge of making these videos. It is so easy for it to mess up. Patreon won’t mean anything different for this channel. It is just a side application that allows people to donate money or“tip” to help support it. It is not required nor do I do much special over there. Occasionally I will post some photos or an early version of a video. I created it because several people had requested that I do so. Let me know if you have any other questions about that. I will try to get the audio figured out for the next walk. Thanks for sticking with the channel. Keep on Steppin’ - H

What kind of gear are you using to film these videos?

@@CityWalks Thanks! You don't encounter overheating problems? If I look at the reviews I see quite a few complaints about overheating when filming extended time at high resolution.
@CityWalks3 жыл бұрын
@@silentwilly2983I've never had a problem with it but I film at 24p. At 60p in hot weather, the camera has to do 150% more work which might have led to some of those reports. . -H
@silentwilly29833 жыл бұрын
@@CityWalks Yeah, that makes sense. Didn't really think about it before, but bought a gopro 10 to film some of my hikes but it overheats within half an hour at 4K60 while it's quite chilly at the moment. Imagine what happens in summer. So did some research and all small size cameras seem to have the same problem. So was wondering what the pros are using. Thanks for the info!
@CityWalks3 жыл бұрын
@silent willy Very flattering to be called a "pro". Thanks for that. 😀-H
