My grandma was 15 in 1936. I will have to ask her what she remembers about the flood. She is almost 92 years old and now lives in San Diego, CA. Her mind is still sharp and bright so she should have a good story or two.

I have lived in San Angelo for well over 20 years and I never knew of the LV tornado and just last year learned of the 100 yrs flood. We had a crazy winter in 2020/21 which was the most snow we had in like 101 years I think... I just now found out Angelo has a KZbin channel!

I guess some places just NEVER change. I'm from the San Angelo generation of " come to San Angelo on vacation and leave on probation"- Paul Harvey
