Love how Phil was so unconcerned with money at the beginning only to freak out at the end of the stream lol. Also if you have a problem with dry turkey try Alton Browns Thanksgiving turkey recipe been making it for years for my family and they love it and they hate turkey lol

Hey Phil, you should turn off the snapping to road guidelines more often. I've noticed it messes up your road grid, and also your rail placement a lot, and I think it would be way easier and more neat.

Bellingham, WA is going heavy on roundabouts right now. May give your city a run for its money on most roundabouts! However we have a few older roundabouts....like they've been here longer than I have, on Texas street. (In Bham everyone always say...."ohhh...Texas St....yikes...") And these roundabouts are actually more of a problem. The street racers look at them as a challenge to whip around without slowing down, and one of them has a a crumbling curb because the school busses have a hard time navigating them so every school day the school busses hit the curb on the one they have trouble with. It's a pain. I wish they took them out and put in some of those long low speed bumps that the street races will bottom out on.

I think it's different when your in a foreign land. You get more nervous and so the cops seem more intense. My husband lived with me in Canada when we were getting my fiance Visa to come to immigrate to the US. Once we were in downtot Vancouver trying to find parking and there was a cop directing traffic. And I rolled down my window and shouted "hey, do you know where x parking garage is?" And my now-husband shrank in his seat like he wanted to disappear. The cop helped me and we parked and he said "I can't believe you shouted "hey" at a cop. LOL. He is nervous of the cops in the US because he is also mixed race, but being in Canada was scary in a different way for him. I've always had the privilege of looking like a harmless white girl, so I shout hey at cops, I make jokes with border patrol, I got pulled over once for driving with expired insurance and the cop bent over backwards to make sure it was the least trouble for me (the ticket I got was for "not producing insurance" and he called a tow truck to tow my car to the nearest insurance office and give me a ride) and he said it was because I had a Simon Fraser Alumni sticker and his daughter went to SFU too. I lead a charmed life with law enforcement for the most part. One time the swat team knocked on my door and asked for access to my back patio because of a neighbor and I just said "come on in" without even blinking at the massive amount of weaponry and bullet proot shield they had. My husband was terrified and said next time I need to be more mindful before I just invite them in. So we made an agreement that I would consult him first if that ever happened again.

Turkey is my favourite meat after Lamb. Its the only time American streaky bacon gets used en masse in the UK when roasting the bird we wrap it in that fatty bacon to help keep the bird moist. Its amazing with some proper cranberry sauce/jelly. Add some honey roasted parsnips, braised red cabbage, cauliflower cheese, steamed carrots, brussel sprouts roasted with bacon lardons, goose fat roasted potatoes, pork sage onion & apricot stuffing and finally gravy. Bonus points for yorkshire puddings too. Epic holiday/christmas dinner in southwest UK or anywhere else for that matter.

@@jt5765 i do most of that in my average sunday roast. 😅 If you get yours hands on a turkey crown and a slow cooker. Slow cook overnight in some chicken stock with some butter, garlic, onions and thyme. Always comes out perfect.
@jt5765Ай бұрын
@Gromhyr I'd guess most home cooked roasts don't go crazy with veg. Far too many people don't even know how to do great veg. I guarantee most will just do boring boiled carrots, peas & broccoli. I learnt in a restaurant as a teenager before I finished school. Hated pretty much all veg as a kid before I started working there. Left knowing the ins & out of large scale carvery prep & serving (300+ plates) whilst loving almost every vegetable there is. I love a roast & making one it's the cleaning up after I despise 🤣

At 1:54:00 see how the commercial demand just completely tanks? I've got this with all my new cities, no matter how slow/fast/deliberate I build. Only seems to come back around milestone 8 but leaves all my citizens poor and wretched because they can't find any of the good jobs. Any fixes for this? Would definitely help with budgeting and as well...

You talking about the wild turkey in your yard made me think about it and you should definitely try wild turkey meat if you can it’s a oddly unique taste from domestic turkey I love wild turkey and it’s best fried with potatoes and gravy it’s closer to dark meat and moister if I had to describe it in comparison to farm turkey ironically wild turkey wouldn’t have the dry problem you spoke of but sone people don’t like the gamey taste I rather enjoy it

4 hours without timestamps. I used to love your channel but it's just not the same since you started posting so many 3-5 hour videos. I don't have time to sit through so many extremely long videos. Leaving and coming back isn't an option because searching for the spot where I left is too much. Thankfully there are other quality creators to watch instead of coming here.

Sorry, but this is nonsense (@clintbrill). You're obviously logged in with an account to comment here. So KZbin will keep track of how much you've already watched and just continue right there when you come back. And even if it didn't, nobody forces you to watch the stream recordings. I also just follow the build series with the normal episodes, for the most part, and I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything important. You're free to leave this channel and watch others, of course, but don't try to guilttrip the channel for your decisions with such nonsense.
