Ursa, the thing I truly admire about your videos, having watched them nearly daily for over three years, is what was on display at the 30 minute mark. The fact that you always champion “flexibility” when you play was on full display. You don’t always go for the “hard meta” option. You still constantly explain your thought process, and what could be a more adaptive approach to a given scenario. Always hated them because of how inconsistent they were. So many times I picked them and had no ley lines, so I just reloaded and chose someone useful instead. I wish they worked like districts where every city got 1 they could manually place down instead.

The key to Yongle is feed the world or high adjacency work ethic but then prioritize internal trade routs to the capital to gain a s much food as possible. The capital works on districts and settlers.

Never thought of Yongle as "tall" despite seeing things like Potatos 1 city challenge. I always cared more about a bunch of cities on food projects hitting 10 pop rather than a few cities getting higher pop. Sure, he Can play "tall" about as well as anybody, but more cities hitting that sweet sweet 10 pop catapults Yongle ahead so fast
