Cool thing you can do with Norway and work ethic is use the stave church and planting woods to increase adjacency. The stave church provides an extra +1 adjacency on top of the +0.5 woods already provide. And because it’s adjacency, it boosts work ethic as well. Gives Norway some of the most unique holy site adjacencies in the game.

Playing Norway for the first time today Pangea marathon diety. End up on an ISLAND, one turn from settling Mount Roraima. Religious settlements ftw! Not sure if im gonna play it out yet but INSANE seed. Also got pyramids on capital city and 2nd prophet without a single chop o_O

@@TheCivLifeR i can grab the map seed but ive been having Bizarre save file issues with Civ 6 recently, as well as the map regenerating even (playing a different civ) with the same map. Would having the take your time ultra mod affect map generation ?

@@LokiSWE i always thought marathon games are if you want to enjoy the eras more as a part of the game. Ive always thought Civ progressed too fast making it less rewarding to play strategically. Marathon is punishing at first, but it REALLY rewards city placement and district planning and gives the game a rewarding feel. Its like right after you you have archery, they have walls. Get a battering ram there? Theyve already got moats. I dont like the fast games it feels a round in a RTS but slower. Also, with marathon and deity you generally can win a faith rush in any single era its launched, if i decided to finish that island game id likely go faith as i do not enjoy playing coastal civs.

Yeah right, the AI never attacks the AI lol it's SO annoying. the bee-line straight to you when your anywhere near they're area but they ignore other AI civs :|
