Very good interview! Chitra sir is a mature interviewer and knows what to ask. And Ilavarasu is really honest and open about his struggles. I have already seen his other interview, which I liked a lot. I am a big admirer of his. One request to Mr. Chitra Lakshmanan - please interview for a longer time. Mr. Pandiarajan's interview was very short. You didn't ask him about "Anjathey" negative role, how he accepted that role, the reaction of his friends and family and the general public. Also regarding his comic roles especially with Vadivelu in many movies. His interview was short. One particular interviewee was given a longer duration with many parts, as many as 5, which was boring. .

I am Delhi born Tamizan and a Sr Citizen. I have had very few opportunity to know about various artist of Tamil cinema, especially belonging era prior to Kamal Hasan. For people like us it started with Kamal Hassan and ended with slow down of his movies with KB. Just by chance I happened to view one of your interviews and was attracted by its simplicity and honesty of interviewee too. In fact as a comment I had suggested that at least to keep two cups in front I am happy it's being done now 😊. Some how I have become a great fan of Chitra Laxmanan. Keep it up 👍 sir.

Ilavarasu is a natural actor. The comparable natural actors are Ranga Rao & Delhi Ganesh. Their natural acting always had & has some in built nuances in their acting by way of body language, dialogue delivery etc. Normally many of us would miss them unless we would be alert while watching the film for the first time. Ilavarasu has asked chithra about his prefix to his name. He should have asked him as to why he keeps long hair up to his upper level of his neck. Is it to hide baldness or is there anyother specific reason ? Growing long hair is not uncommon. It is O.K. But age is a factor. At an advanced age it looks obviously incongruous to have such dyed long hair. Ilavarasu has very clear mind. His expression & speech are so fluent with appropriate words conveying the intended message very clearly.

Chitra sir, the best interview would be with Mani Ratnam. He has given detailed interview in English but not in Tamil. But the questions there were insipid. You have the ability to get the best answers out of him about his work. One thing surprises me....... You keep giving us the behind the scenes stories, but how come you have not given any story about Ilayaraja - KB rift. And the subsequent rift of Ilayaraja and Mani Ratnam. Is that an industry secret ? Many websites have given some stories, but it will be great if you do and gives us what happened between them.
