Superb interview. Very nice format. Rather than interrupt the flow of thought of the interviewee, it is way better to let them pour their hearts out and later edit it. Well done, Nettv4u. Rather than focus on a few "celebrity" actors, nettv4u is bringing a lot of behind-the-scene technicians and unsung heros to the forefront. Now for Mr. Ilavarasu. He has already established himself as one of the very few actors who can perfectly portray any role without overacting, melodrama and other unnecessary stunts. His straight from the heart talk is very insightful. This presentation has immensely elevated my respect for him. All the best.

A very nice telling AutoBiography and will be useful for many youngsters. Ilavarasu was honest and dedicated to achieve what he wanted and explained the roller coasters in career those day. I could understand him every bit of it. There was no hesitation in his flow of telling his story. Though he would have got a preference because he was from Madurai, his talent always helped him to progress. An amazing walk of life and one could feel the pain in journey all along ! Even now, i do have a feeling that he still wants to persue the Camera Man career !!. Hats off to you Ilavarasu ! ( not every one achieves his or her ambition, but settles as a good father/husband due to circumstances. May be those who have achieved what they wanted, may have lost some precious other side in their life ? who knows ?) . Your expliaining of late teenager life and confusions are true, and most of us dont understand our mistake in that age, which makes our life upside down. It may be better to listen to our well wishers during that period, but our harmones takes precendence !

1960-80.....ஆம்....72ல் பிறந்த எனக்கும் சினிமாவுக்கும் உள்ள உறவு மிகச்சிறப்பானது.....கோயிலுக்குச்செல்வதைவிட ஜெகதா தியேட்டருக்குச் செல்வது (பழங்காந்த்தம் மதுரை) மிகப்பிடிக்கும். அத்தியேட்டர் தான் மதுரையிலேயே முதன்முதல் தூண்களின்றி கட்டப்பட்ட கட்டடம்....இன்று அதன் பெயர் ஹரிவிக்னேஷ் தியேட்டர்....வாசலில் மக்காச்சோளக்கதிர்....மணமும், சூடும் பரபரபரக்க வாங்கிக்கொண்டு “வினாயகனே...வெல்வினை வேரறுக்க வல்லான்” பாட்டுக்காக ஏங்கித் தவித்தேன்...மையக்கூரையை அண்ணாந்து பார்த்து மின்விளக்கு எப்போது அணையும் என எதிர்பார்த்து காத்திருக்கும் போது நீண்ட குழாய் கம்பிகளில் தொங்கிக்கொண்டு ஓடும் மின்விசிறிகளை பிரமிப்பாக பார்ப்பேன்......இனிதான காலம்
