That's weird. I lost my HoF once during an update and it turned out that the update created a new Application Support folder in my root library. Bless god I was able to track down the old folder and move the HoF file. Hopefully you find a way to fix that.

@@EmotionalHuskysCivStories one good thing about steam is that it tracks hours played so I can backup my opinion with 2500+ hours of civ 5 and 1000+ hours of civ 6. civ like you said, is meditative, it is not however, challenging in any respect. Beating the game on diety is braindead easy, with any settings. The AI is pathetic.

I think the main reason anybody finds the series challenging is that they play it like a roleplaying game instead of a strategy game. Often flavor and mood are given front seat to strategy and wincons.

The AI is flawed. But it's not easy. If it's easy for you, maybe you're just really good at all of those things I talked about. I have heard this about Humankind. I made a video about my concerns about the upcoming game and I think, perhaps, a lot of those concerns relate to features from Humankind. I definitely play it for the fun of playing through history and victory is a secondary concern.
