1 year Update? Any odd noises that are normal with this shifter that you start normalize over time? I just installed one on mine and it was a pain. Done a few hundred miles without issues.

It’s comfy because the shifter is closer to the steering wheel so it takes less energy to shift because there’s less distance when shifting

Negative: Honda shifters too close for tall shifters unless your 5'5-. Positive: But cup holder is at same height as stock shifter so gotta reach over cups to shift... Pros and cons to everything.

With the shifter being so high ergonomically that is not an ideal position for shifting the gears. It seems uncomfortable shifting, especially when your elbow is just tucked by your side.

The point of long shifters is when u do canyon runs or time attack on track you’re helping eliminating time from shift to steering wheel. It might not be a mod for everyone but theres a purpose for it.
