@@LBR.2024 In the first episode of this collection yes :) It is called Federal Signal Modulator, but if you want the broken sound ( as people are mistaking it ) which is actually called *Alternate Wail* tone - i think the siren which can also do that is EOWS-612 i think it is called. 3:30 I've got this exact same high low lightning siron in my back yard to warn people about common lighting storms and hail as we're on a high point and more prone to lighting strikes, it wails in steady tone in an emergency or another storm's approaching and holds a high low tone and says "clear of conflict" aka all clear when ok, the only other time I've heard it talk was to say "test of siren, this is only a test".

Yes that was something like remote control dialing tones which Civil Defence team uses to activate or initiate the siren to sound off 👍 Good ears 👍 The team behind operating that siren uses a certain device to communicate with the siren to give it a certain orders to follow before starting up. Think of it like they're communicating with the siren's computer 😁

@@Pyroscity Allow me to rephrase it: It is actually one solenoid which is stuck in open phase at low mode and the other is working as intended. So this is the actual effect: Duo High then single low. Both Open at high then only one in low mode is actually blocking the air flow.

To me, there are few things creepier than hearing one of those dual-tone sirens (like the Super Sirex) from a mile or so away just echoing across open countryside. The echoes may it way, way scarier to me, I don't know why. They're not as scary close-up.
