You are giving wrong information to innocents people. Architect can't work without engineer. I am not saying that engineer is better than architect or vise versa. They are equally important. Architect can't take big project without the help of civil engineer and vise versa. If an engineer works in an architectural consultancy, architect controls the engineers. If an architect works in an engineering consultancy, engineer controls the architect. I am talking about private sector. In public sector like pwd, cpwd and other psu engineers are controlling the architects. The main important is that your skill, knowledge, creativity and dealing people. Every discipline wheather engineer, architect or doctor are all good but depend on your quality. What do you mean by big project. Civil Engineers deal in many field like bridge, tunnel, dams, railway, highway , irrigation etc. which cost a lot more than buildings. What i want to say is that to construct a beautiful building, engineer and architect are equally important. Earning depend on your skill, knowledge and creativity. Keep in mind that civil engineer has vast opportunity to get job in both public and private sectors because, civil engineers studied many subjects like irrigation engineering, highway engineering, railway engineering, environmental engineering, water supply and sanitary (sewage), hydraulic structures, airports engineering. If you want to work in public sector you go for civil engineer. More over, architectural plan or model are some time not feasible from structural point of view. So the structural engineers modify their plans so does the model. There is no need to discuss which is better. Take your own decision and choose what you are good at. If you have artistic skill you go for architect. If you are good in mathematic calculation go for civil engineer. Earning depends on your skill, hard work, knowledge and experience. No matter you are an engineer or an architect. A civil engineer can pursue m-ach but an architect can't pursue M-Tech.

Its depend... weather you like mathematics as a core subject or not. If you don't like calculations and Mathematics then might be civil engineering is not the right option... And Interior Designing is best for those, who is good in aesthetics or in designing... Civil mein college se nikal k or either 2-3 years of experience mein you can have good salary package, Architecture mein job life me koi scope nahi, you can either learn designing(3-4 years after 5 years course)and develop your khud ka firm which sounds very exciting but in reality its way difficult its like a startup, i would recomend joh bhi karna hai please take a practical knowledge from internship before getting into it or talk to multiple people from that background.

As I am serving this field so I know the real facts. If you want to sanction the plan then you have to take the license from the local authority. I am from New Delhi so here's the link you can apply for to get the license and sanction your plan. mcdonline.nic.in/eodb/ (Go to registration section then click on engineer registration) If you are from another state then you have to register yourself in that particular state's local authority.
