Civilization V: Retrospective

With the announcement of Civilization VI coming later this year, I thought I'd take a look back at Civ V and discuss what I did and didn't enjoy this iteration of the series. Full warning, I ramble quite a bit, but if you've not played the game before, it should set out my expectations for Civ VI, and they are high!

I have to agree about the city states, they do add something to the game, but it's always felt like something that's in the way.

Yes, there's something not quite right, and I've seen them quite literally get in the way before, leaving you no room for expansion. I'm hoping in Civ VI you can somehow absorb them into your civ.

Been playing this game for over a decade. Still better than Civ 6
