Quill, you should build more of your unique unit, they are not made obsolete by Ironworking, and they are really, really powerful? How powerful? They get a substantial power bonus when fighting a unit with higher base strength. I've had them tank Horsemen and Swordmen while defending. And if the enemy unit is damaged, they get wrecked. They aren't actually obsolete until gunpowder.

Ye just pump your uu for more firepower and free culture and then kill Berlin since you have alot of archers already. Don't worry about Canada he can't war you for 5 turns after denouncing. Also unless you are aiming for great scientist replace the wildcard with 50% military production for more culture per build. Have to say though you have made alot of good choices so far unlike the other people I've watched. Keep it up

I think one of the best party about them is they can even take a couple of shots from a crossbow to kill and that's great for a cheap unit with no gold maintenance cost, allows you to save your iron to pump out knights.

Yeah, in particular, spearmans seem very useless unless you are fighting a lot of cavalry. The unique warrior are just flat out better thanks to their +10 against almost everything.

Don’t forgot to use your camp pantheon. You have one in the southeast you can buy, and another unimproved near your capital

Those volcano tiles are amazing. I would consider putting a city southeast of the volcano next to the lake. Even though it’s in the tundra, those powerful tiles will more than make up for it.

I think religious idols synergizes well with Gaul because they get bonus culture on mines and mines give border pops. Mines are also the best source of production. This means that Gaul wants to make as many mines as possible and wants to work as many mines as possible, to take advantage of the free culture. This means that adding bonuses to mines is good, whereas adding bonuses to other tiles means you need to work those tiles instead of mines, splitting your priorities. Every camp your work is 1 less mine, and vice versa.

Dude you should have worked the truffles tile above your second city, your camps are super strong with the pantheon, and you should also definately have bought the 5 food, 1 prod, 2 culture tile next to the wonder

When you build the unique district for the first time you are supposed to gain a technology for free. I think it still worked as all the mines became more powerful, but no pop up, which is weird.
